Scott started his career in the UK energy market in 2006 when he helped launch energy switching through MoneySupermarket.com. During his six years there, he launched MoneySupermarket.com's very own energy comparison service and led the launch of MoneySavingExpert's "Cheap Energy Club" after the Martin Lewis website was acquired by MoneySupermarket in 2012. Following that, he worked for business energy brokers 'Make It Cheaper' (now Bionic), managing their domestic energy website, UKPower.co.uk, between 2012 and 2016.

Over the years Scott has helped to reshape the energy sector including presenting the concept of QR Codes being printed on energy bills to Government representatives at Number 10, Downing Street. These QR codes are now visible on millions of UK energy bills each month making it easier for consumers to compare energy prices quickly and easily. .
